"It appears the four statues closest to the residence changed over the years, sometimes juggled on their pedestals/crenellations, other times disappearing to be replaced with new ones. This is one of the replacements (below), and the only photo I’ve seen of it. This is dated July 1938, and it looks like freshly splashed whitewash around the base. Maybe she had just been installed following the demolition of the old mansion and WPA cleanup of gardens and statuary?"   - John A. Martini (3/7/2021)
